WVSSAR chapters bring the Society’s mission into communities across West Virginia. Chapters welcome prospective members, support genealogy and membership applications, conduct patriotic programs, and provide local opportunities for service and fellowship.
Each chapter plans meetings, commemorations, educational programs, grave markings, Color Guard appearances, veteran recognition, and other service shaped by its community.
A chapter registrar can help you understand eligibility, organize lineage documentation, and begin the application process. Contact the state society if you are unsure which chapter serves your area.
Current chapter locations, meeting details, and officer contacts will be maintained here as records are confirmed. Until then, use the Contact page and WVSSAR will connect you with the appropriate chapter.
