WVSSAR programs turn remembrance into useful work. Members support students, teachers, veterans, historic sites, patriot graves, civic observances, and America 250 activities throughout West Virginia.
The Society supports student contests, classroom programs, recognition, and resources that encourage careful study of the American Revolution, the founding era, and civic responsibility.
Members help mark patriot graves, recognize military service, support commemorations, and preserve the stories of people whose service shaped their communities and country.
Chapters are developing public programs for the nation’s 250th anniversary, including ceremonies, talks, exhibits, partnerships, and local history projects grounded in documented evidence.
